Market Value / Valuations Template Guideline:
- You are allowed to import multiple valuations for the same Legal Entity or Asset, representing its value at different points in time.
- Any asset can have a valuation.
- For Companies, Funds, Non-Profit Organizations, and Anstalt you can decide if you want to add the total valuation, position value, or simply the price per share.
- Please ensure that you maintain the same formatting, whether it's all lowercase or includes spaces.
- Clicking the Toggle ▶️ will display additional information pertaining to the column.
Market Value / Valuations Template

- Column A - Type (Required)
- The type will always be ‘event’
- Column B - ID (Optional)
- It can be left blank/empty
- Column C - Event Type (Required)
- The type will always be ‘market value’
- Column D - Date (Optional) - Date format = YYYY-MM-DD
- While inputting the Date is optional, ORCA recommends adding dates later to utilize the Time Travel feature. Additionally, there is the option to revisit the transaction in ORCA and input a date.
- Column E - Object (Required)
- Use the Unique Identifier/External ID you have created from importing ‘Items / Entities’ to be the Point of Origination in the sentence builder
- This is the External ID of the Legal Entity or Asset that you wish to add the Valuation for
- Column F - Market Value Type (Required)
- List of Market Value Types:
- ‘valuation’ - Estimate the current worth of the Asset or Legal Entity
- ‘price per share’ - The price you pay to purchase one share of a stock
- ‘position value’
- Column G - Amount (Required)
- The Amount (Column G) is directly related to the Amount Unit Currency (Column H) described below
- Example: 10,000,000 USD
- Column H - Amount Unit (Required)
