Overview
ORCA allows you to travel to any date in the past or future, providing you with a snapshot and Structure of the selected day. Some of the most common use cases include:
- Checking the tax values of the holding company at the end of the previous year
- Obtaining an overview of the company registration IDs in a specific region
- Determining the market valuation on a specific date for M&A activities
- Generating a list of investors and shareholders on a specific date
Note: ORCA can only time-travel if you specify a date for the events.
FAQ
How to navigate through time?
- Click on the “Today” field located on the top bar to open the calendar view.
- Select any day in the past or future.
- The chart will instantly display the ownership structure, as well as any information (such as tax IDs that have changed over time) that was valid on the selected day.
What are “hidden transactions”?
When using time travel, ORCA will not display events that occurred after the selected day. However, ORCA will notify you of any hidden, and therefore newer, transactions that have been added.
You can either click "View all" to blend in the hidden transactions or "Hide transactions" to hide them again.
