Overview
Presentations in ORCA allow you to transform complex data, such as structure charts, asset lists, and mandate views, into professional, interactive slides. Instead of static PDFs, ORCA Presentations keep you connected to your live data, enabling a seamless transition between high-level overviews and granular details during stakeholder meetings.
Creating a Presentation
To begin building your deck:
- Navigate to Presentations: Click the Presentations section on the left navigation panel.
- Start New: Click the Create New Presentation button.
- Set the Basics: Give your presentation a meaningful title and add internal notes to help track the objective (e.g., "Q4 Board Review / Tax Restructuring").

Capturing and Customizing Slides
You can capture a slide from various sections of ORCA (Structure, Persons, Entities, Assets, etc.).
- Navigate to the View: Go to the page you wish to present.
- Refine the Data: Use the filter bar to isolate the information you want to show. Expand or collapse specific cards to control the level of detail visible.
- Capture: Click the Capture Slide button. The current view is saved exactly as it appears.

- Ordering: To insert a slide at a specific position, select an existing slide in your list before clicking "Capture." The new slide will appear directly after your selection.

Editing and Organizing Your Deck
Once your slides are captured, you can refine the flow:
- Rename Presentation: Click on the title at the top of the presentation editor to edit the name of the entire deck at any time.

- Edit Slide: If you realize a view was too cluttered or missing a filter, click Edit Slide. This allows you to recapture the view with updated settings without deleting the slide entirely.

- Rearrange: Select a slide and use the Up and Down arrows to change its position in the deck.

- Add Context: Use the Linked To feature to attach specific Persons, Entities, or Files to a slide. This provides participants with easy access to supporting documentation during the presentation.

- Duplicate: If you need to show the same structure chart twiceโperhaps once with "Before" filters and once with "After"โuse the Duplicate function to save time.

- Delete Presentation: To remove an entire presentation, click the Delete icon (represented by a trash can) in the main Presentations list view.
