ORCA enables you to store and organize crucial information about your insurance policies, such as policy contact details and related individuals. With ORCA, you can easily monitor your insurance coverage and ensure that your information is both up-to-date and easily accessible. This guide will take you through the process of adding a new insurance policy to ORCA and managing your existing policies.
Insurance types
In ORCA, we differentiate between four different types of insurance policies.
Insurance (general)
Insurance is a type of coverage that protects against financial loss in the event of unforeseen circumstances. This can include coverage for automobiles, art, aircraft, yachts, or intellectual property.
Health insurance
Health insurance is a type of coverage that helps pay for medical expenses. It can include coverage for doctor visits, hospital stays, and prescription medications.
Property insurance
Property insurance is a type of coverage that protects against damage or loss to physical property. This can include coverage for homes, buildings, and personal belongings.
Life insurance
Life insurance is a type of coverage that provides financial support to loved ones in the event of the policyholder's death. It can include coverage for funeral expenses and ongoing financial support for dependents.

How to add a new insurance?
- Open the sentence builder to add a new event.
- Select the verb "insured".
- Choose the appropriate sub-asset class (insurance type).
Capture the Policy Number, Insured Sum, and Net Premium.
How to add a payer for the insurance policy?
- Open the insurance tab for the relevant item.
- Select the insurance policy that needs to be modified.
- Add the necessary additional information.
How are files saved?
Files that were entered while creating insurance are saved in the smart folder "Insurance" with all related tags.
