Prepare for an SRO audit

Overview

ORCA can generate a report based on the audit requirements for self-regulatory organisations (SROs) by the FINMA, the Swiss financial markets regulator. This report is available as an add-on module. Reach out to us for additional details and pricing.

Preparing for an SRO Audit

Where to add information in ORCA?

  • “Detail View” of the selected entity
    • "Details" page: Goals, General Notes, Date of Incorporation
    • "Compliance" page: KYC and AML-related checks, compliance-related notes
    • "Cashflow" page: Relevant transactions that require proof of funds, etc.
  • Wealth Summary: This section provides overall information about the client's source of wealth and assets.

Setting Default Values and Checks

You can configure the following specific values for your SRO audit:

  • SRO Valuation: Sets a threshold percentage based on your company's valuation. ORCA will add transactions exceeding this threshold to the "Transaktionsjournal." For example, if your company's valuation is USD 1,000,000 and the threshold is 20%, ORCA will flag all transactions of USD 200,000 or more.
  • SRO Guidelines Information: Contains additional free-text information that will appear as footnotes in the risk profile questionnaire (Risikoeinteilung, Form 05B).
  • Country Lists: Reflects current risk country lists from FATF, EU sanctions, Basel AML index, and internal guidelines.

Supporting Documents

When generating your 2025 SRO Report in ORCA's Document Generator, you can automatically download all required supporting documents.

How it Works:

ORCA's 2025 SRO Report template includes a predefined list of supporting documents. ORCA searches for documents linked to Events based on Event type, document type, and matching Entity.

  • If multiple documents match a requirement (e.g., several passports), all will be downloaded.
  • If no match is found, no document will be downloaded for that item.
  • With "Time Travel" enabled, Events are retrieved as they existed on the selected date.

How to Use It:

  1. In the Entity Details View → Document Generator, select “Download Supporting Documents.” (The option is greyed out if no documents are defined for the report.)
  1. Generate the report. The supporting documents will be downloaded in a ZIP file alongside your main report.

2025 SRO Report - Included Supporting Documents:

  • For Legal Entities:
    • Commercial Register.
    • Passports of all active individuals in key roles (Legal, Compliance, Executive, Ownership).
  • For Natural Persons:
    • Individual's Passport.
    • Passports of active related individuals in legal and compliance roles.
