Overview
Change your preferred settings in ORCA. No matter where you log in, you will always see your default values, such as main currency and language. In addition, you can also set up 2FA for your account or update the name
How to set your preferences
- Grouping of your structure; select in what groups (asset classes, sub-asset classes, or else should be taken). More on grouping can be found here
- Default language; currently ORCA is available in English, German, French, and Spanish
- Default currency; select the currency that you are doing business with or you do the accounting with
- Date format: choose between three different date formats:
- YYYY-MM-DD
- MM/DD/YYYY
- DD/MM/YYYY
- Default vault; in case you have multiple vaults in ORCA, you can select the one that should be opened once you log in
How to enable 2FA
Open the “Security” tab on your settings page and click on “Setup”. Note: Admins can make 2FA mandatory for the whole account. In that case, you cannot select.
